Last Friday, the pasta stand added in a new addition to the menu-beef meatballs.
The pasta stand has always served the same pasta toppings and pastas for the past few years. However, starting January 12, there was a new surprise awaiting the hungry students.
Many students have tried the new menu added to the pasta stand and have displayed a countless amount of reactions.
“The meatballs were a bit too dry, they made my stomach hurt,” said Mariel Ner, a senior.
“I hope our school continues to serve meatballs next year as well,” said Janae Bruessard, a senior.
“The meat is not bad at all, but I still think the meat was frozen and heated in the microwave. It’s not totally fresh,” said Kevin Rojas, a senior.
One of the lunch staff from the pasta stand believes this new change is due to “having a new boss that instructed the school’s lunch ladies to start serving meatballs in school.”
When asked about how long they will be serving meatballs in pastas, Maria said that, “We don’t really know if this will be a permanent change to the pasta menus or if this will be temporally. We have just started serving them since last Friday. We are also counting how many students prefer eating meatballs over chicken today.”
We hope everyone goes to the pasta stand and tries the new additions to the pasta toppings.
